Ryan and Michelle

Today is a big day (night)! I blogged more than once in a week, and to top that, the blogs posted were within two days of each other! Unfortunately, I just don't think I churn out enough work (yet) to warrant blog posts as often as this week on a regular basis.

Before getting down to what I started this post for, I have entered a couple of images for the Q3 contest at the Wedding Photojournalist Association, and the images are picked tomorrow. Wish me luck!

Okay, now the fun part. Below are some select images from Ryan and Michelle's engagement session. We got some nice color from the fall foliage, and two people who show (obvious) signs of love and affection. I've known Ryan since middle school and wish nothing but the best for these two, looking forward to the wedding day next year.

If you went to sleep, you can look at this tomorrow. If you didn't, you score (more) points in my book.

A more complete post - Dave and Heather

I believe every time that I come to my blog to start a post, I end up apologizing for how much I lack actually posting entries. So this time, no apologies, just getting down to business.

Dave and Heather have been through so much together, and are two spectacular people (which I mentioned in my most recent post before this). I am proud to call them friends of mine and hope they enjoy these photos from an engagement session we did on the thanksgiving weekend. If they don't, we may have some serious problems come the wedding day (haha).

On a personal front, I am still editing, and will bring more entries as they come. Not all engagement and wedding photos, but interesting nonetheless.

I've also tried a couple of new editing techniques, as well as taking part in some free-lensing for this session. I'd love to know what anyone thinks, thanks, and be well.

Hey Meg, (I wonder if you'll see this).

David and Heather

This shot is from David and Heather's engagement shoot last week, and yes you're right; they're pretty cute. They've been together over ten years and haven't lost the spark, it's something I am sure everybody desires. Wedding next year, can't wait.

More things to post eventually, be patient with me, I'm surprised I even made this post.

On a side note, I have midterms, a broken nose, and more photos to edit.

Thanks, all. Have a good upcoming week!

When this week is over, it's back to normal, can't wait for that either.

Raymond and Rachel

This post is definitely a little late, as Raymond and Rachel's wedding took place before Andrea and Daniel's. Bare with me, I am no good with blog posts.

Here are a few that I personally like, enjoy!

Oh, and on (another) side note, I have always wanted a Leica Rangefinder (since my Grandfather expressed his undying love for them), and with the release of the Leica M9 - I am asking for someone out there in the universe to purchase me one; it would make my Grandpa (and me) very happy.

LEICA M9!

Now, for the images; sorry for the rant. I just really, really like this camera.

One more thing!

One a side-note, I was accepted into (and am now an active member of) the Wedding photojournalist Association (WPJA).

I have admired many of the photographers that are part of this organization, and to now be a part of it is a great honor for me.

Daniel and Andrea

Thought I would keep up on the blogging, it's painfully obvious that I haven't. These are some images from Daniel and Andrea's wedding, enjoy!

Daniel and Andrea

First post, hate blogging.

Hi, I'm Jay; this is my blog. I can almost guarantee you that this will not be something I will keep very up to date (but I can only do my best, right?).

Here is a quickie from Rachel and Ray's wedding (that has very little to do with their wedding at all) however, since they haven't seen the images; neither can you. Rachel and Ray are two very wonderful people that I have known for quite some time and I am very happy to see them finally tie the knot, congrats you two!

Well, fist blog down. Let's see if I can keep this up.
